the mile

let me make it known, I despise running in the summer. despise it. give me a nice snowy day and I am in heaven. LOVE the cold.

so knowing, that I have a planned run tonight with some friends in what will probably be 70+ temps, I decided to go out for a short run this morning because I never got to yesterday's run. jogged 10 minutes, decided to run as fast as I could for a mile, then walk/jogged the last 10 minutes.

I ran a mile in 10:02. fastest mile time yet. 3 weeks ago I ran a mile in 10:56. not too shabby, eh?
